Why I built this

I studied civil engineering and spent the early part of my career with a building contractor, out on job sites alongside the owner.

What stuck with me wasn't the construction. It was how much of his week disappeared into everything that wasn't the work — scheduling, chasing suppliers, sorting problems, answering the phone at nine at night. The building was the part he was best at and the part he had least time for.

That's the whole reason this exists. Every roofer I speak to means to ask customers for a review. Almost none get round to it, because there's always something more urgent on a Tuesday. So I built the thing that remembers.

I work with roofing companies only, and I still read every message myself.
